Hans Popper Hepatopathology Society Trainee Abstract Award

We are pleased to remind our members that it is time once again for trainees (including residents and fellows) to submit their liver-related USCAP-accepted abstract(s) for a chance to win the 2020 Hans Popper Hepatopathology Society (HPHS) trainee abstract award.
HPHS now has an online application submission process. On line abstract submission opens January 03, 2020 and closes February 01, 2020. Please follow the instructions carefully as the form must include all authors plus their “title/training level”, and institution. The submitting trainee must be the first author (or in rare instances it is acceptable for the trainee to be listed as the senior author). The abstracts must be submitted as a Word document. At least one of the authors must be a paid regular HPHS member. An email confirming abstract receipt will be sent to the submitting author. If the confirmatory email is not received, please inquire with the HPHS Education Chairperson, Dr. Daniela Allende (allendd@ccf.org).
HPHS is very committed to supporting the growth and development of all liver pathologists in training. Our abstract review process has undergone a substantial evolution to assure transparency, and to facilitate unbiased judgement based on academic merit and/or clinical practice impact. We are delighted to equally consider all abstracts. Please encourage all participating trainees to stay for the USCAP HPHS annual business meeting immediately following the HPHS Companion Meeting, as winners will be announced, and certificates and monetary prizes will be distributed.
Thanks.
HPHS Executive Committee and Education Chair.
